HariprasadUnnikrishnan~ 1036 blog posts16343/44 Amrita Exp should bye-pass Shoranur Jn. once 16349/50 Rajyarani express is made an independent ONT thereby saving at least 30-45 min of running time. It also should be made a 24 Coach rake with sufficient quota for PGT pax. There are high chances of it being regularized as POY--TVC in the coming Oct timetable. Rajyarani can ply via Alleppey route...Maybe by 2017, we might see 2 separate trains .Fingers crossed. Comments are welcome..

As of now Rajyarani is wasting one and half hour at SRR. It could have been started one hour late from Nilambur. Railway always says platform is not available etc to discourage the request for new trains, at the same time they only do all these constraints.
