Again Very good initiative by Indian railway. Full of advantages:
(1) Ensure clean stations through systematic and efficient cleaning of stations
(2) No investment of IRlys but Private Sector Company shall does it, Bonus to I Rly revenue @ 1.5 Rs per Kg.
(3) Fertilizer and electricity shall be generated will be source of revenue for Pvt Co. Win-Win situation for both parties.

(5) Better hygiene in railway premises
It is a known fact that IRlys cannot survive without substantial investment in its already creaking Infrastructure. Be it creation of new infrastructure or modernization like New Railway lines, Doubling, Gauge Conversion, Electrification, Signaling, Stations, Yards, Freight Terminals, Level Crossings etc, a lot needs to be done and there is no money for that. For substantial investment money has to flow from public and pvt. companies into the IRlys. Since last 2 decade IRlys has failed to attract such investment.
With several MOUs/ formation of several JV companies with several states/ Public sector and Private sector companies for funding the Rly projects already signed and under implementation this innovative step is again a welcome and very much desirable one. Name of hon. RM is gradually getting marked bigger and bigger in golden letters in the history of Indian Rlys with every such step.
