There are Number of Train Types in IR ( Special,Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Garib Rath, Sampark Kranti, Jan Shatabdi, Jansadharan, Janhit, Gatimaan, Tejas Suvidha, Premium, Tatkal, AC Express, AC Super Fast, Mail/Express, SuperFast, Passenger, Toy, MEMU/DEMU, Double Decker, EMU and may be more etc)
Do you think the categorization of train types are done rightly ? If your answer is YES please respond justify in one or two sentences. If you answer is NO then please response name of train types you would like to remove or like to merge.

Mail, Express, Superfast, Sampark kranti, Jan shatabdi, Janhit, to be known as Express as there is not much difference in speeds and pounchlality in these types.
Also Jansadharan, Passenger, MEMU, DEMU, EMU to be know as jansadharan or passenger due to low facilities in these train types.
AND Special, Premium, Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Garib Rath, Gatimaan, Tejas, Suvidha etc, to be merged and classified based on facilitation and to be known as Deluxe and Super Deluxe due to high facilites.

No is my answer . According to me Shatabdi , Rajdhani , Express/Mail , Superfast , Passenger , EMU , DD , toy are enough . JanShtb and Janhit can be grouped as a separate group may be as Intercity . A deluxe class like Tejas can be added . Duronto , Garibrath and Jansadharan can be clubbed with either Exp or SF .

janhit, tejas, humsafar, gatiman, suvidha, premium, tatkal, ac express, antyoday, yuva.... ye sab IR me koi matlab nahi rakhte..... rajdhani, sampark kranti best hain... concept is good, duronto ka concept bhi bahot badhiya hai... ye trains delhi se most important cities k liye hi honi chahiye jahan superhit jo sake like... mumbai, pune, bangalore, chennai, thiruvanantpuram, jaipur, kolkata, hyderabad only.... janshatabdi and shatabdi r best, jansadharan is like an express for general class passenger this one is also good.... memu and demu r also good for nearest town ppl... double decker suits for this train.... express, superfast perfact not require of mail trains as there is no difference between express and mail... if the train is ac than it have to superfast not express bcoz of vip passengers.... toy trains are best in mountains so it has good name.
