MFP is an A1 category station on papers & according to Railway Authorities but one will hardly find any facility that an A1 category station of Indian Railways Should have. This Station don't have Coach position indicators, chart Display boards, AC Waiting hall but these thing would be available soon as tender has been passed for that. Two entrances are there, one from the North side & another from the South. Escalators are present at the North side entrance but they mostly remains non-functional throughout the day. North Side entrance also have two ATMs, one of SBI and the another of IDBI Bank. Their is a newly opened "Food track" also at the North Side Entrance. South side is a little bit Deserted and you will have to walk a reasonable distance to get any public transport facility. You will also find many "PAN-BEEDI' & "GHUTKA'' shops running on illegally encroached...
