the entire sleeper class is hijacked by un reserved passengers on the run on 7th August from TVC to GHY.Surprised that even in SR there is no control on this.IN fact earlier all east bound trains from TN and Kerala have this problem in bth directions.

I think IR should run jan sadharan express with 24 coaches from Kerala to eastern india DAILY !!!
Surprisingly, SR/TVC has decided to withdraw the weekly special running from KCVL to GHY as well!
It is running like these for years. TTE can't do anything, i doubt whether they come to check ticket. It will be fully packed and hardly he can come and check it.
But on other side, one should appreciate the reserved people, mainly migrant workers. They don't complain about unreserved and WL people. They happily share the seat and travel.

I remember couple of years ago, there was an article in the paper wherein a gentleman along with his daughter was about to board this train between Aluva & MAS . Because of the huge crowd they couldnt even reach their seat and immediately deboarded the train though they had reserved sleeper tickets.
On complaining to the station manager after the train left, he was politely told to avoid travelling in this train especially if one wants to go to intermediate stations like Chennai-VSKP etc. I guess even the railways are helpless in these situations. They cannot stop issuing tickets also.

Yes. If you want to travel in this train. Then you have to go for AC.. Sleeper will be like fully packed general..
