Sources said Sinha is also scheduled to review the performance of the railway and the progress of various infrastructure-related projects, which are crucial to the industrial development of Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh, passenger amenities at stations and on-board services on trains.
In December last year, the Union Minister had also held a review meeting at the ECoR at its headquarters here.
Based on the feedback he received from the ECoR region, a number of positive policy measures were immediately initiated by the Ministry of Railways, stated a ECoR statement.
In April this year too, Sinha had visited the state and directed the concerned officials for speedy completion of the pending projects like the Khurda-Balangir line.
Earlier in the day, Sinha addressed a Press conference at the BJP headquarters here.
