Hello, I need a help. I had booked a ticket in 12331 from hwh to ara in SL in PT category. But the train got late by more than 8 hours and then I filed a tdr stating that the train is late by more than 3hours. But the request is rejected with reason that PT ticket is non-refundable. Is it true that PT is non refundable in this condition?

My God. I have no idea about this buddy but after paying more than what it has to be with dynamic fare system . I think IR should give full refund for such cases where train runs more than 3 hrs.!!
Write a strong mail to IRCTC regarding the delay...Tweet to RB & RM about this then see.
The TDR filed against PNR Number 635XXXXXXX with reason Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled. has been repudiated by the Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds NR due to reason ,NO REFUND FOR TICKET BOOKED ON DYNAMIC FARE as per the Indian Railways Refund Rules click here
Please note that the decision about the repudiation/ rejection or amount of refund has been taken by the concerned Zonal Railways as per extant Refund rules of Indian Railways and not by IRCTC.

They give all those reasons..If the train is late by more than 3 hrs from the originating station itself you have right to cancel it & get full refund...Tweet this to RM & RB.
I have written a mail and also twitted to RM......let's see whether and what will they reply....
