Why zone are been shifted o a specific train ?for eg if a train originates from cstm I.e central railway and end to Gorakhpur I.e NER .on a coach it is written CR but sometimes shifted to NER?

its not the zone actually. it is the division or even precisely the station/yard tht maintains it
Now for example, Nagpur Duronto it travels from CR CSTM to CR NGP, its primary maintenance is done at NGP i.e ngp division. But in starting, cstm div or cstm used to do primary maintenance. later on it was transferred to ngp
