This doesn't mean RPM is under utilising its loco..
In SR many trains still running with D-loco due to shortage of loco.
Btw I spotted 30436 @MS on Tuesday morning.. may be it would have come with sanga gangs..and offlink would have given by ET staffs. ✌

Too many allotments?!! :D Not at all! RPM just has 51 WAP7s as per the latest holdings.Then what can be told about GZB/LGD ? Trains still use LGD P7s and P4s in SR. There are many trains that get dloco even in FEDL section. SR has to handle links for some SWR trains too. Locos are alloted to sheds by the RB due to the growing needs for the zone. I must say that offlinks have nothing to do with allotments for sheds. A loco is given as an offlink not because it is an excess loco but due to the unavailability of the regular link.Infact its an efficient way of utilising an idle loco by sending it as an offlink generally. The loco must reach its ELS. So its sent as offlink as no train from/to MAS that undergoes LC at ET get RPM WAP7s. They all get P4s.
