if you want to visit Shirdi from DELHI then the best day is to start your journey is Tuesday and best trains are GOA & Karnataka Exp
Why not take 22456/55 Kalka - Sainagar Shirdi SF Express, direct to destination instead?
It has 2 Hrs difference, but if taken into account daily late arrival of those 2 train of around 1 Hr, then it's not much difference plus you get dropped at exact destination!

I use to visit Shirdi every year instead of arriving direct at Shirdi and I alight the train at kopargaon after that taxi takes only 30 mints to to drop me at temple. that's why I have suggested these trains.
