Yes.. if 12649 can do in 10 hrs then why can't 12650. The train belongs to SWR and if SWR itself will not prioritize it then who will?
I have raised this query to SWR a lot of times and all the time, the answer is, priority is given to outgoing trains from YPR during crossings.. Hence there is a heavy slack post DMM. It will remain the same until YPR-DMM doubling is completed.
SWR has a lot of constraints at SBC/YPR or nearby lines as most of its lines are single. Even SBC Raj gets trolled on some days..
But what about KCG-DMM loose timing ?
And if train can reach 2 hrs before at YPR what is the need of making it late between DMM-YPR and so many crossings ?

i dont see much difference in arrival history at jhansi even after slowing it down by 15 min. though it will help cover delay during foggy winters.
