Nope ..bt the mail congeation and delay in NCR ald is due to this only ..
Mainly all the powerplants of northern india and western too ..are dependent on jharia. , and eastern area coal supply ..
So passenger trains can be made tp reach destination late but freights should not be late as it will shut down ..all powerplants ..of the respected areas..

And bro they r not one ..they r many ..back to back..
Around 700+ crore rupees coal is transported to upper india by a single mine of Dhanbad section..in a month ..so many coal mines.
They r given time limit ..to reach destination ..and they have to be at respective places before that time ..

Ha kuchh goods trains to bahut hi important hoti h. Freight corridor bahut jyada important h aur ye jitni jaldi ban jaye utna achha h.
Sirf coal hi nahi aur bhi bahut si goods trains ko priority dena hi padta h.

Freights from Asansol,Dhanbad and adjoining areas Bokaro make bulk of the freight movement. Also the Chopan, Chunar route provides good freight volume.
