bakthi.srv 1 blog postsI am a frequent traveller of train no. 17235/17236 and I stay near Sarjapur. I would like to request official stop at Carmelaram station as amny will be benefited. Cnsidering the time that the train reaches Carmelaram station at 8AM in the morning, It is more ideal for people who stay near sarjapur, marathahalli. Secondly, even while leaving from Bangalore, it reaches Carmelaram at 7PM. It will be more convenient for majority of IT working people. Thanks in advance for the needful
Well I have two possible remedies for this.
17235 is a heavily delayed train in the Cantonment-Hosur-Cantonment section given the huge no of traffic it has to encounter on this single during those hours. 17235 invariably makes atleast 2 stops before Hosur to let the Karaikal Bangalore passenger and the Ernakulam Bangalore intercity pass by. And its usually stations other than Karmelaram where the crossings happen. Hence a stop at Karmelaram will only add to this train. What you can do is to take Yeshvantpur Salem passenger to Hosur and catch this train there. I know many people who use this arrangement and it works quite well.
