Matheran Toy train service remains suspended during rainy season and generally starts on 15th October every year. But this year Railway is not sure when the service will start because of some engineering work like construction of safety wall (650 metres length) in Ghat, air brakes to trains and other safety measures.
Railway is not able to start Matheran-Aman lodge shuttle service also.
