Hatia rly station is 7km by train from ranchi rly station ,and comes under ranchi itself,Hatia works as yard for ranchis trains. ;-) and comes under ranchi city

Yes Hatia (Ranchi) - ERS (Cochin) has great demand throughout. There is a huge Kerala population in and around Ranchi. Plus there are a huge no of Medical (Patients) passengers that need to go to CMC Vellore (Katpadi). The passengers on this route are mostly service class people / businessmen / students and not migrant labourers so I feel there is a good demand for AC Seats.
