I'm writing this post because i believe in this forum we should always try to give the correct and authentic information. In past some days im observing that many of our fellow IR Fans are posting pictures which are factually wrong or has been taken from other sources without any permission. It made me think is that some people are doing that so that they can have more great , agree, useful vote. What surprises me is that even if some one raises objection saying that Pix or post is wrong no action is being taken as people are happy with their zone, likes or number of great which they have got. As more great and useful vote may help them to become Admin/Moderator/ RF in future. Let me give you an example, in this post i have mentioned that this picture is wrong. This picture is not of...

Azad Hind Express. But till now no action taken. I did some research at that time and gave the proof for that again no action. I again did more research and found that this picture was taken by one British Photographer in late 70s . In that picture that photographer has mentioned it as Some passenger train in Old Delhi station, and as we all know Azad Hind Express don't go to Delhi at all, so this picture is wrong. Now my two questions to #admins and #moderator 1) Do we have any mechanism in place to ensure that post/picture/video is authentic 2) Why we don't encourage fellow rail fans to post pictures/videos for only those for whom they have some sort of approval/permission from the owner of those pix and videos. reason being if we don't do that tomorrow the owner of those pix may take legal actions as now a days people are vey much particular for that. I hope my this post will be taken in good spirit as my intentions are not to hurt any one or blame.
