IR has substantially developed/ upgraded the standards and practices for the Broad guage permanent way and rakes over the years. The same must be done for the hill railways which are either international heritage or are in process of becoming one. Safety is a must in all train and for all the railway lines whether main lines/ branch lines or the toy train NG/MG lines.
