New Superfast AC Express Train between Hatia and Ernakulam
Ministry of Railways approved the introduction of a new superfast AC Express train service between Hatia and Ernakulam. The inaugural service will be flagged off on 27th October, 2016 from Hatia.

No. 02837 Hatia-Ernakulam Superfast AC inaugural special train starts from Hatia at 16:30 hrs on 27th October, 2016 (Thursday) and arrive Ernakulam at 09:10 hrs on Saturday.
Enroute this inaugural service stops at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Titlagarh, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore and Palakkad stations.
II. Regular service of Train No. 22837/22838 Hatia-Ernakulam-Hatia Superfast AC Express (via Vijayawada):
The regular services will commence from 3rd November Ex. Ernakulam and from 7th November, 2016 Ex. Hatia.
Accordingly, Train No. 22837 Hatia-Ernakulam Superfast AC Express will depart Hatia at 18:15 hrs on every Monday and arrive Ernakulam at 10:55 hrs on Wednesdays.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 22838 Ernakulam-Hatia Superfast AC Express will depart Ernakulam at 00:25 hrs on every Thursday and arrive Hatia at 17:10 hrs on Fridays.
Enroute, these trains will stop at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Titlagarh, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore and Palakkad stations in both the directions.
These trains will consist of 15 Coaches viz., three AC II Tier, ten AC III Tier and two Power Car Coaches.
