Good decision. There is no point in having an isolated non electrified rail track of 20-30 kms, the operational inconvenience and maintaining dedicated diesel locos for the small stretch often out weigh the cost of electrification. Further construction of new line on Nangaldam-Talwara project should proceed with electrification.
