Travelling in ac coaches in exp/SF trains either with ordinary unreserved ticket or without ticket is rampant in many (may be almost all) the routes of the IR. But all these happen in connivance with IR Staff/TTE. It happens in Rajdhani class train and that too in Mumbai AK Rajdhani is a news to me!!
Corruption is flourishing day by day as common public has bowed before it. An alert citizen and of course with an honest RM at the top has resulted in the fact coming to limelight and possibility of any action against the culprits, else nothing happen.

incidence, the BBS Raj stoppage case, and reports that both being regular incidences and not isolated cases,
The fact that Maximum number (distinctly high) of vigilance complaints being received against IR officials than any other deptts or All banks together.
Common experience of public with TTEs, Parcel offices, all indicates that IR has become more of a departmental fiefdom rather than a national asset serving the Indians.
Hats off to Madam Nidhi Jamwal,who took pain of doing some effort for cleansing the system, rather than being a mute spectator like most of us!!

No problem bro, passenger should buy proper ticket (ac Class)and go in ac class!
Rly rules say improper ticket is considered as without ticket. IR says if train is going empty, it does not mean a passenger boards it without buying proper ticket.
Here inefficiency of IR comes into picture who operate as lakeer ke fakeer and are wasting the national resources (i.e. tax payers/ public money)

relative, once have to go from Bhopal to NGP by Rajdhani express and he was ready to take any ticket and pay amount, but he was told there is no room. He himself saw at Bhopal stn one coach was almost full empty. The next stop from BPL was NGP, so no one was going to board the train between BPL & NGP. So IR loose revenue and the person does not get facility he deserve. What he ultimately did, I did not ask, but should have asked.
