Yesterday arriving at PF-1. Look at the roof of S-3 coach. Is it solar panel (Don't think so), or some jugaad to protect from rain. All coaches were in poor condition.

That's are solar panels. I think some modifications in coach has done.
1-2 coaches of KK/Mandovi rake has fitted solar panels.

Looks like the solar panels only ( The panels used on all experimental IR trains were quite thin). Quite difficult to make out from the lighting in this pic, but you can see the light colored strip at each side of the panel area, where the rooftop collector connects to the solar panel, so the solar panel is probably there.
