Deepavali special : Furious WDP3A twins closely chasing the Truck train!
Wishing all my dear viewers a HAPPY and PROSPEROUS DEEPAVALI 2016! Got to spend few moments with the train this long holiday season. With lots of shurbs and trees near railway tracks, RF from close by is almost impossible in the Udupi surrounding strech this season and hence this bridge seemed to be the right spot to observe trains. One of my colleagues who is a cyclist gave me his Garmin Virb camera and i thought to test it here. Virb camera in the days to come.
1) As soon as i reached this spot, a plassar machine races towards Barkur from Udupi side.
2) Closely being chased by the fiery WDP-3A twins, a south bound RO-RO rake races towards Suratkal powered by Pune WDG-4#12683 (Captured using Garmin Virb)
3) Then came the much awaited action. Fabulous chugging and honking display by the double WDP-3A powered 22634 NZM TVC SF Express. The LP really got furious seeing three idiots on the bridge who almost risked their life in the name of fun. The first part of video was captured by Canon SX 500 IS over the bridge, next shot was wide angle view captured using Garmin Virb. The train was powered by GOC WDP-3A#15517 + GOC WDP-3A#15504.
