And media focus is also a problem. You have correctly pointed out the problems for North Andhra people. But news paper articles about the new zone are almost always focused on VSKP's problems with halts and new trains. Forget about mentioning the benefits to the rest of the state, there is rarely any mention of places like VZM, CHE and PSA in these articles related to the new zone. All the articles are filled about a Rajdhani from VSKP, trains to SBC, MAS, NDLS, BSB, trains from VSKP to north India via Katni etc, but there is hardly any mention of new trains for CHE/PSA or any solid plans for connectivity from CHE/PSA to the rest of the state.

With such kind of reporting, the general impression being created is that VSKP is the sole focus of the new zone. And while we all know VSKP's need of new trains and important connections, such kind of an impression can make people question the need for a new zone and new HQ.
Most of my arguments against new zone or arguments against HQ at VSKP are also fueled by the same impression. I do agree with you about why a new zone would be required, but with no clear idea as to what other portions of the state can expect from such a proposal ( even the rest of North coastal Andhra), you can expect some counter arguments like I did earlier. I do accept your propositions though. I feel they do justify the need for a new zone. ( Though being an RF from SCR, I am a bit attached to the zone and will definitely miss that).
