I have never thought of it as a silly demand. I too was very keen about development of railway facilities in the VSKP, VZM, CHE and the rest of AP that is struggling under ECoR. Your arguments were very concise and informative and I shall try to convey the same idea to others in future. Thank you for that.

done well. (To be honest, I favor the old 9 zone system and usually put up idealistic arguments about people learning to work together instead of just separating when there are problems. Don't pay attention to that rambling. :) )
However, don't misjudge me for saying this. Speaking only from a railway perspective, unlike the VSKP region, which has a strong reason to demand a separation from it's home zone, the rest of AP has no such extreme problems with SCR and has no reason to demand for a separate zone. So you cannot expect people from here to just start supporting a move to separate from SCR without getting a clear picture as to why such a move has become necessary or what difference it can bring to the concerned regions. At the outset, the new zone doesn't mean as much to the rest of AP as it means to the northern part. Only with a proper communication of the needs and necessities can we get a unanimous support for the idea. And random people demanding diversion of trains from CCT to VSKP here on IRI did not help the situation as far as my reactions here on IRI are concerned.
So, please understand that neither I nor any one else from AP are against VSKP region getting better railway infrastructure. But solely as an RF, I hope you can understand why RF's from the SCR region may not accept the idea of a new zone wholeheartedly as much as they would accept the idea of merging WAT with SCR.
