Travel report of journey done on 31/10/16
Hello iri members. I am here to reveal my travel experience n 31/10/16.
Woke up in morning at 3:30 as I had to go to baidyanathdham. Tickets were booked in 18622 from kmme to jsme. Return was in 18184 upto asn from where I boarded 63545 upto dhn.

into my coach S-3., seat no.24. Bedding was given along with bottle of water and tkt was checked there itself. I preferred stay in slb as I wanted to see this train rip apart stns of ecr (last time it was way back in12357 about 4yrs back) . Train departed RT and gained speed but was halted at matari. It departed and after that there was no stopping upto gaya and slammed everything that came in its way and it arrived@ 18:17. Dinner was loaded from gaya.
My brother Sanjeev who has travelled in this train before had warned me about the pathetic food quality of food from gaya and it was really true. The food was hopeless without any taste. The only good thing was dahi. it ran at a good speed till dos. Again it was halted for 10 mins and finally arrived mgs @ 20:58 at pf7. 2 mins later 12393 also joined us at pf 8.
I had ordered food from e-catering at mgs taking in mind the food details of gaya. But to my misery that food was not delivered. Good that I had opted for cod.
Train started at 21:05. Gained speed and ran nicely to cross nyn @ 23:15. It crossed the Yamuna bridge and then the crawl started. It took almost an hour to cross ald ( final crossing was at 00:15). Trains in dn (rajdhani) were moving smoothly as if making mockery of 12273. After that in between ald- cnb it was ot by 12309 and 12393 and arrived cnb @ 4:10. Took 7hrs to complete a journey of 347 kms with a speed of almost 50 kmph.
From cnb it started nicely and went with good speed upto daud-khan and crossed @ 7:50. From there again it took 50 mins to cross aljn. Maintained good speed till wair where it re ot 12393. Later it was halted near dadri to allow 12423,12301 to ot it. It crossed der @ 10:00 and gzb @ 10:30. From there it took about an hour to reach SBB at 11:20 where as our ntes had already updated it's arrival at ndls at 11:17. I deboarded there itself and took metro to reach home.
Highlights of the journey
1) this train can't be trusted for punctuality
2) duronto run possible only in ecr
3) carry your own food. Don't depend on food served from gaya
4) destined to be ot by 12393
5) Outers crossing a big issues.
6) priority the biggest issue. See 12259/60, 12273/74
Few days back I had travelled by 12314 and what I could make the difference between rajdhani and duronto are
1) rajdhani enjoys top priority (it was late by 75 mins at tdl only to end 45 mins delay at cnb to 20 mins delay at dhn)
2) no halting at outers.
3) awesome speed
4) peace of mind that you will reach on time or with minimal delay.

Ecatering not delivering food is a big letdown. Besides I think atleast Duronto should stop charging Rajdhani fares as they no longer provide the same smooth run. Also wide difference in services quality
