Why the the metro projects being conceived/ implemented today often terminate at Mumbai Municipal Corporation limits i.e. Borivali/Dahisar?
Unlike in 80s and 90s, the further 3 KM northward stretch i.e. Mira Bhayandar and Bhayandar are equally developed and populated since more than a decade.
Such metro projects conceived and implemented today should ideally terminate at Bhayandar (if not Virar), the natural end of the island of Mumbai, to serve maximum populace of MMR.
