Train No. 22118/22117 Kacheguda-Guntur-Kacheguda AC Double Decker Express and Train No. 22120/22119 Kacheguda-Tirupati-Kacheguda AC Double Decker Express were announced for introduction in the Railway Budget 2014-15, basing on which the two trains were introduced with effect from 13th and 14th May, 2014 respectively.

Normal ICE is surly helps. But what they do with this rake is question. Railways should come with Garibrath faring for DDs but now a days railway more interested income than serving people. So fare decrease or present fare will give them same amount.
Reagarding this route, running via ngnt is a big bottleneck. People in all AC are people who wants to travel in fast. Even Amaravathi is still most of the offices in Vijayawada only. So TPTY-BZA stretch people find other trains which are faster than this is bottle neck.

This train is coming bcz SCR has DD rake.....
Rake vundi kabati....VSKP ki DD ivali ani fix ayaru kabati VSKP Tpty DD.
VSKP Tpty munde plan chsi vundochu......than Vskp BZA DD(Uday) but at that time it was objected by GTL div saying maintenance issue......now the issue s resolved so they tought to rull till Tpty.

Even I said the same thing in 3rd line right, that SCR has the rake, hence it is running DD.
Anyway it I'll be only sectional carriage no long distance travellers. Why they I'll waste full day travelling from vskp SLo RJY to tirupati paying AC fares. Last month I was travelling in janmabhoomi the ac chair c3 is half empty when I saw in Rajahmundry to check occupancy.
vskp-ogl/nlr people may prefer if its via Tenali as it can be done by 8 hrs.
Many ogl, nellore people settled in VSKP. Our MLA and minister Ganta srinivas is from Ongole and our Vizag MP Haribabu is from nellore, Rajyasabha MP Subbiramreddy from nellore. But now people max use it to GNT.
