Mere trip me SK ka max speed 160+ gaya tha according to Speedometer. 😂
during oscillation trials train is tested at 10% excess speed than the permitted/sanctioned MPS of line. WR, for instance, after AC-fication in mumbai division had trials at 145 Kmph before 130 clearance was given in VR-BRC-GDA/ADI sections. +5 Kmph isn't much actually, but safety reasons force them to restrict it within sanctioned speed.

For Example : Normal ICF coaches can perfectly run at 120 kmph without any significant issues, but there is a thing called "Safety Factor" , which restricts ICF coaches to 110 kmph. Else ICF coaches can do 110+ kmph perfectly. Similarly NDLS-MGS route can be fully utilised to its full potential ( ~140-145 kmph), but due to this "Safety Factor", it is restricted for 130kmph operations only.
