1. LP ko pata hota hai kab gradient aana hai he can reduce speed as per it. LP of express train are highly experienced.
2. Most gradients have there own speed restriction so that train don't get too excessive speed while going down a gradient. IR has done extensive test runs of all sections .
3. Most loco have recorder to speed record and other parameters and they can be checked randomly. So LP are also very cautious .
