Railway should try to manage his available express and passenger train in maximum loads and maximum efficiency , Why trains are running with only 14 coaches where they can run with 24 coaches . Train amalgamation may be increased . For Example : 1. Dehradun Mumbai Exp trains runs with only 10 bogies , this train can be merge with one new train at Kota , new delhi any where , this will not increase the load of rail track . 2. Howrah -patna Garib rath is running with 12 bogies ( why) it can be extended to Chhapra via new patna -chhapra line with 22 bogies . 3. Varanasi -JAMMU Begampura can be amalgamate with Gorakhpur -Jammu train at Lucknow . I know you have also so many examples .
