HWH ypr was introduced as weekly then made bi weekly and further to daily. At that time puri tirupati used to leave at 600 and arrive tirupati at 830. It used to be limited halts express. During that period HWH tirupati 8079/80 also used to run daily with dep at HWH @2330 vskp @ 2230. When HWH ypr is made daily HWH tirupati is cut short to puri tirupati as 5 days and 2 days bilaspur tirupati and take was handed over to SCR from south eastern railway and the weekly puri tirupati exp @600 is cancelled. Hope now everything is cleared for everyone.
I did not ask for clarificatin i just posted puri tpty weekly was aso there
i think here every one is clear. But hwh-tpty is not cancelled due to HWH-YPR exp. Its due to not much demand end to end.
Hwh-ypr has odd arrival timings at TPTY. Later src-tpty introduced as weekly with proper timings.

During 1960-1977/80 there used to be a train named janatha express from Howrah to chennai. My father told me that he boarded the train in late 50's and may be running from even before. It was later diverted to tirupati as HWH tirupati express when coromondal express was introduced. After HWH ypr express the train was shortened to Puri tirupati. The irony is that right from past 60 yrs the timings are the same now it leaves tirupati at 1030 then chennai at 900 stopping at all stations having more general and parcel vans with less reserved bogies.
