Our Omnibuses operators are increased their fares around 50 to 100 % during festival times only such as Deepavali and Pongal.
For that increase in fares they are penalized by the State Transport department,police and Courts severely.
But our Southern Railway operates Airfares SUVITHA train s fares are increased by 400%. over the basic fates .SR operates during festival times and in addition to during the weekends in its Kerala and Tamilnadu state s territories reqularly.

But both state officials , political parties and Courts have not been realized the SR s 400% fares increases in fates regularly during weekends also.
But they severely punished the omnibus operators who increases only during festival times and not weekends. This punishments of Omnibuses operators are unwarranted .
At least both Tamilnadu and Kerala Government Transport secretaries / Courts should have been saved the Tamilnadu and Kerala people from the SR s 400% basic fares hike for train journey during weekends .
