explorer_yash~ 674 blog postsI occasionally monitor 12002/12001 on NTES. But I consecutively monitored it for last 2 days. Train 12002 is reaches Bhopal Habibganj 2-3 hrs late. Return train 12001 reaches New Delhi 5-6 hours late or even more. I am a Mumbaikar, so I know that fog exists in North India, but don't know about its intensity. Agreed that the fog conditions affect the train in New Delhi- Mathura- Agra Cantt. stretch but why does the train gets delayed even further? 12001 is the most heavily delayed, yesterday's train reached 10 hrs late, today morning. This is a punishment to all people travelling by this train as they need to spend the whole night, just sitting, helplessly. Senior citizens are most affected. Railways must think about keeping a spare rake at Bhopal during winters so that even if 12002 arrives late, 12001 can depart on time and delay can be reduced to a...

Same in the case of 12003/12004. Today 12004 was even rescheduled by 8 hrs. Horrible time for passengers.
Zero visibility. Be it a passenger or Shatabdi, this is going to be the case.
s the same rake is used for 12001.to reduce this problems little bit railway can make fog time table as like monsoon time table like goa,mangalore route and can make extra rake of shatabdi for lucknow,bhopal trains and some other important trains that ply along new delhi,up,bihar,punjab,jammu,madhya pradesh sections.
