Any idea of the status of Hosapete gradient work? Any work started at stations and PF on that line, like those of Gunda Road junction, TB Dam ....?

Yes. The Talaguppa train is always full by the time it reaches Shivamogga - mostly occupied by coastal KA, Malnad KA passengers who travel to Sagara to board this train. Just one train on that route (Talaguppa- Shivamogga) to Bengaluru. So a separate train from Shivamogga was needed.

Surprised that bus mafia (mostly operated by politicians of all hues), have allowed a new train.

Gradient work is complete .but the problem is high tension electricial wires pass near vyasankere station rly line so kptcl should shift those wires .untill unless swr will not go for CRS .And kptcl r too lazy not showing any interrest in shifting so it's getting delayed ..if every thing finished on time by now hpt -kty-hrr line would opened for traffic..sad that it's getting delayed again and again
Thanks. The same problem cropped up on SBC-MYS line near RMGM or CPT with high tension wires near the track. But there the fear was that of the tower falling on the cantenary wires. But since then SWR got permission from RB to energise the line. But still they are waiting for the MEMU rake and probably sub station to start services.

Here too if SWR asks RB, there might be exemption, with no fear since this is diesel line. KPTCL will never take any initiative to shift the line. Don't know...
