In addition to the three kind of knee injuries arising out of jumping, standing continuously for 1-2 hrs twice a day in suburban trains is also a "knee breaker" experience especially for the for the ones above 40yrs and higher weight.
IR on the other hand is in process of experimenting with the longitudinal seats(like Delhi Metro) where seating capacity shall be lesser and much more number of paxs shall perform their journey in standing mode.
