Beautiful place !! Visited Araku many yrs ago from VSKP when we were on our way to Jagaddal. Awesome place. The route is very scenic . Full of tunnels & hilly areas .
The short wagons are the 'BOY' class of wagons. They are mainly used for ore transport. They are not being used much these days.
The pic isn't exactly a good example for my statement. :P
There are only about 20 full rakes of these left now. I think production of these rakes has been stopped.
