The then regular GTL ALCo chugs out of Makalidurga station limits with BZA-BNC passenger in tow.
This train now runs with Electric loco.

Last week many trains like Bilaspur-ERS running via BZA were diverted to run via DMM-YNK but with an E-loco (Off mode) behind WDPs..

This train is strange. I usually take this from CSDR to YNK every alternate days. At times it gets E-Loco and at times D-Loco. Any idea why?could it be cos of shortage of E-locos?

Mainly a shortage of locos, and partly depending on the number of freights running on electric traction on the route. As the substation capacity is currently limited, the number of trains that can be handled on the route is also limited. I've seen it arriving with electric loco and returning with diesel loco a few times.
