Interiors of the WDM2 loco of the super express give an impression that a condemned loco had been refurbished for the shooting of a film.

A pax getting very happy after seeing a cushioned seat is also funny today which was not in 1980 when all non ac coaches had non cushioned wooden seats/ berths.

The National Rail Museum scene is really very appealing and looks somewhat fairy tale like.

Now we have many options to see much better railway based movies of hollywood. After getting habituated with much better filming techniques, seeing the 1980 Burning train once in 5 years may be digestible that too with much difficulty. Good songs and multi starrer casting added to the craze of this movie.

Let us hope a burning train type movie (based on train) when Bullet/ Talgo trains are introduced in India.
