After speeding up, this train can be easily extended to BGK/GDG, instead of separate SUR-BJP weekend express. I heard even chances of extending this train to BIDR via GR new line after completion. Either of the extension is welcome and will benefit border districts pax.

Have been following this long post, many members many opinions. In your post you rightly say that there weak and strong candidates. So as per your logic - let expenditure be done on Wadi , because it generates revenue right? Has SUR spent on Wadi till now? I remember pitlines were sanctioned for Wadi, has it been built? Has any ETS being built at either Wadi or GR for E-Loco change for many trains coming from MAS/SC/SBC? Even the pitlines sanctioned for GR was reduced by one and only one built, isn't it? So much revenue generated by GR and Wadi, yet no facilities for them?

Sorry My Goudamani.... spending large chunk on Wadi was my answer to ppl saying Wadi GR gives more revenue to CR and these stns should get their dues... Hence I drew parallel of the fact that 1/3 of India's revenue come from Mumbai.
Secondly you mentioned put lines... is the pne already in place fully utilised? So you want second pit like when first is not optimally utilised.. hope u get but again you will cry... best is GR goes to SWR. Then be happy !!

I am not for SWR or CR. Just asked a question. I didn't comment in this post because of this type of talk about "crying" and such hatred for anyone who questions. And again you yourself admit that the one pitline at GR is not fully utilised, whose mistake is that? GR is under SUR. If trains are started from GR, it and another one if built will be fully used, isn't it?
