RSAs are done to decongestant of coach yard and also for proper rake utliliazation. This problem exist with all trains having RSA. SBC Mail was facing this issue for almost a month. But such things don't happen always. Most of the time, it goes fine.

Your point is right but it would be good if the RSA is done for trains moving within the same zone or almost equal distances just like : Chennai-TVC/Allp-MAS or Maveli/Malabar or West Coast/MAS Mail.
In case of Cheran and SBC-MAS mail, their other rake which goes to Northern/Western parts of India, it does become a problem especially during months of fog etc and also due to other reasons.

Ya. That is fine. Once SR had cancelled Cheran and ran a spcl train in that slot for passengers. And SWR previously used to arrange an extra rake for SBC Mail, when KK is late. But those were days when number of specials were less. Now specials are running like regular trains and hence they are not able to get extra rake to deal with such situation.

RSA should be revised , instead of that SBC mail and cheran can have RSA ( if SBC mail comes back to SR )

up to some extent RSA is fine
SR has almost RSA for each and every train except a few but long run trains will show impact on other paring trains also
