The distance between stations in Konkan Railway(KR) seems to be inflated.Is it true. If so why? I remember having read in the initial years of commissioning this line that IR (Ind Rlys) needs to pay some extra money to KR for using this section. Is this inflated figure meant to collect so much extra from the passengers to pass on to KR?
