New Shimla station. A turn table similar to what I saw in cartoon series Thomas and friends. Walked from New Shimla railway station to old Shimla now a museum.

One thing I noticed in Kalka mail was how rugged and worn off its coaches are (almost all). With 1996 date made coaches (20 years) HWH as I find is notorious for using so old and rusty coaches for all popular trains running daily be it Kalka, Mumbai mail, Chennai Mail/ Coromondel. It is so weird that we talk of flagship industrial programmes but our manufacturing is yet to be at par with needs.

All coaches of kalka mail are very old. Same situation is with BP mail
