sir, i stay in ahmedabad. how can i get general second class express trains tickit from ahmedabad for jalgaon to hoshangabad for 27 th feb 2010. what shoud i do?

I beg to disagree with all posters. Please go to the station and ask for the ticket. They will give it three days in advance of date of journey.... since the distance is more than 200 kms. Now booking UR tickets is allowed three days in advance from anywhere to anywhere on the IR system. Please try it and post your response. You may find an initial NO from the PRS counter. Persist, and let me know.
There is a rule about this.. I am trying to search for it for the last four days.

Thank you Dt Bang! I had this circular before... but there is a raging controvrsy whether it is applicable across zones ! Hence I had asked the original blogger who raised this question to go ahead and try and book at the PRS near him/her.
