Please explain the procedure to change the boarding point .I have booked a ticket from Karwar to Delhi in Rajdhani Express on 17-8-2011 with boarding point as Karwar.Now, I want to change the boarding point to Madgaon.How can I do it?The PRS counter officer says that come before 2 days from the date of departure on the ticket.

whether it is an E tkt or PRS tkt - copy of id card is must for change of boarding point. Reason behind this is not to identify the travelling people. i too can go 4 change of boarding point for your ticket by producing your id card. So establishing id is not important here.
They are asking this as a proof of changing of boarding point by a bonafide or genuine passenger. i too can have someone's PNR and fill up a requisition form for change of boarding where as...
