I am very much happy and thankful for Guntakal division TTE Mr. Rama Mohan Rao who helped me to get a doctor to treat my father who fell down from the stairway while boarding 11013 at SUR. Let me narrate the whole incident first, so that you people get to know what happened. My father (63), my mother and myself were due to board 11013 from SUR to CBE on sunday ( 29-1-2017), while climbing down the stairway which lead to platform 3, my father slipped and the trolley fell on his right knee. He managed to get up and walk. He was quite confident that nothing had happened, he was walking and was fine. was ok. But the real problem started after MALM, he said he was not able to stretch his right leg and it was paining like hell. We brought him down after great difficulty. We tried with everything we had , amrutanjan, volini spray, and I felt it was getting worse and my dad was not able to withstand the pain. By this time train was reaching GTL.
So got down at GTL and went in search of the TTE, we were in S2 fag end of the train. Finally found all the TTE's sitting in B2 by the time I could explain him everything the train started from GTL. He took all the information and contacted someone at Dharmavaram and he told me that a doctor will be coming to the seat at DMM. Finally when the train reached DMM a lady doctor, two attenders came to the seat asking for my father. She went through the knee and told that a sprain has occurred with some blood clot, I could see the right side of his knee turn black. She gave him a pain killer checked his BP and finally advised to consult a Ortho doctor at CBE. I thanked her so much for attending him. Finally the train departed after 5mins halt.
After the train departed the TTE came back again and asked whether the doctor came and checked him, it was a really great gesture by him, by helping in due time.
Even thought the problem was small, he took immediate action and helped us. There are many good souls like him !!!
