Agree that Sampark kranti takes 1hrs 30 min less than Telangana but 90 min difference in front of 24+ hours journey is quite negligible. Moreover, Telangana mostly reaches NDLS with minimum delay and has very good priority during its run. As said earlier, pantry service is much better. I personally prefer pantry less during my journeys, but in this particular train I always banked on food from pantry. In railfanning perspective Telangana is the goto train. You can have a look in trips of respective trains to know how members experienced journeys in these trains.
