Frankly, SR/TVC seems to be having the worst lot of controllers now. Most of their actions defy logic.
Today morning 12777 UBL - KCVL SF Express, which was running late, but comfortably ahead of 16315 SBC KCVL Express was detained @ KZK, the station just before its destination. 12777 was held for good 15 minutes to let 16315 overtake, which also ends up its journey...

@ KCVL. Incidentally both PFs @ KCVL was empty as LTT Garibrath had already left at 0850.
Interestingly, 12777 has PF turnaround & returns to UBL @ 1250 whereas 16315 has PM @ KCVL & departs at 1645. Also, the loco of 12777(#offlink ET WAP 4 22927) was detached first & dispatched to TVC!
On Tuesday, the rake of 16342 TVC GUV Intercity scheduled to depart @ 1730 was placed on PF 3 at TVC only by 1720. Without any announcement, 16304 TVC ERS Vanchinad (dep: 1745) was allowed to leave ahead of Intercity. Incidentally, 16341 has first stoppage @ VAK, whereas Vanchinad halts @ KZK, CRY & KVU before stopping again @ VAK. In short, a train with more halts was leading the one with fewer stoppages!!
