Tumakuru-Arsikere Doubling update.
-
1. The levelling of land for laying tracks between TK and ASK at most places is complete.
2. Between TTR and ASK sleepers have been placed and track laying has begun.
3.
...
As per new standards a lot of LCs are being eliminated by building RoBs and RuBs. This is being done in between BAW and TK also for some remaining LCs.
4. At many small stations the lone PF line has been removed, don't know why.... People have to struggle to board trains which stop on the mainline.
5. TK's new 4th PF is almost complete, some finishing work still left. I noticed that the signal at one end has been switched on. But the PF improvement work of 2-3 seems to have no change from what I saw a month ago.
