Train over the longest bridge of Konkan Railway at top speed : Hill-top view!
One of the fastest diesel hauled passenger trains on IR network, Mangalore Madgaon "superfast" passenger cruising over the three bridges over the Shravarthi river at MPS, powered by a WDG-3A from Ernakulam shed. This amazing engineering marvel consistinf of three bridges over the mighty Sharavathi river was completed way back in 1994. The Sharavati "B" bridge is the longest which is a whopping 2060m long. Along with this Sharavati "B"bridge, there are Sharavati "A" and "C" bridges respectively and totally, it takes three bridges and almost three kilometres to cross the mighty Sharavati River.
