Nopes Jalandhar is new terminal now.... AC oassengers are mainly from Jalandhar so that is why AC Express from Mumbai will terminate at Jalandhar
You mean there are no or less AC passengers in amritsar as compared to jalandhar? FYI, check the availability of Mumbai Jalandhar AC express. Train is vacant between Jalandhar and delhi and waiting starts for the journey between Delhi -Mumbai. After train reaches jalandhar, it halts only for 3 hours and starts its journey back to Mumbai. Had there been vacant yard in nizamuddin ,delhi or amritsar, it would not had a terminal to jalandhar.
No its not .....see who will travel in a train which takes 10+hrs ? For 400km and who would like to spend 1000rupees for this much slow train?
Moreover its running with gud occupancy from Jalandhar to Mumbai ... I hv seen.......my comments above were totally based upon what ADEN of LDH CPTM of WR said....If their was no vaccant yard in Dilli then this trai cud be made to terminate at MTC of SRE ... It would not hv been made Jalandhar Mumbai
